Serdecznie zapraszamy na konferencję ‘Focus on Documentary Storytelling’. Wydarzenie poświęcone będzie produkcjom dokumentalnym.

Konferencja w formacie online odbędzie się we wtorek 21 kwietnia 2026 roku w godz. 11.00 – 15.00.

Komponent MEDIA programu Kreatywna Europa w tym roku obchodzi 35-lecie swojego istnienia. W związku z tym, podczas konferencji ‘Focus on Documentary Storytelling’ chcielibyśmy podkreślić, że w ciągu tych trzech dekad wśród dofinansowanych projektów znalazło się  wiele wspaniałych tytułów dokumentalnych, które miały swoje premiery w kinach, telewizji czy na platformach streamingowych, a także festiwale filmowe, warsztaty i inne wydarzenia adresowane do dokumentalistów. Komponent MEDIA sprawia, że europejskie historie są w ciągłym ruchu i docierają do jak największego grona odbiorców w Europie i poza nią. A kino dokumentalne stanowi wyjątkową platformę do budowania dialogu z publicznością, wzmacniania empatii i zaprezentowania różnorodności punktów widzenia, dbając o to, by filmy i poruszane w nich tematy pozostały w pamięci widzów jeszcze długo po ich zakończeniu.

Zaproszeni goście – eksperci i ekspertki z Polski i zagranicy podzielą się swoim doświadczeniem i wiedzą na temat realizacji, promocji i międzynarodowej dystrybucji projektów dokumentalnych.

We warmly invite you to the ‘Focus on Documentary Storytelling’ conference. The event will be dedicated to documentary productions.

The online conference will take place on Tuesday April 21, 2026, from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm.

The MEDIA sub-programme of Creative Europe is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year. In light of this, during the ‘Focus on Documentary Storytelling’ conference, we would like to highlight that over the course of these three decades, the funded projects have included many outstanding documentary titles that have premiered in cinemas, on television or on streaming platforms, as well as film festivals, workshops and other event for documentary filmmakers. The MEDIA programme keeps European stories in constant motion, ensuring they reach the widest possible audience in Europe and beyond. And documentary cinema provides a unique platform for building dialogue with the audience, fostering empathy and presenting a diversity of viewpoints, ensuring that the films and the themes they explore remain in viewers’ memories long after they have ended.

Invited guests – experts from Poland and abroad – will share their experience and knowledge on the production, promotion and international distribution of documentary projects.

Simultaneous interpretation from English into Polish will be available during the conference.
