PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The projects intends to create an international campaign of music and dance with the aim to boost young talents coming from small and medium-sized cities. The transnational dimension will facilitate the exchange of young musicians and dancers as well as apprenticeship of local methodologies and artistic trends.
Activities foreseen are the following:
 Residence of one week in each participating country where young people from different countries exchange methodologies and learn from practice.
 Exhibitions at the end of the week.
 A closure exhibition of all youngsters participating in residences.
 A networking platform to exchange local exhibitions, new trends, dance academies and conservatories contacts.

ORGANISATION DESCRIPTION

Ontinyent city is 360 metres above sea level, in the south-west of a valley surrounded by mountains, in the province of Valencia (Spain). This territory belongs to “Albaida Valley” having Ontinyent as capital of the County. Nowadays, Ontinyent has 36.000 inhabitants and it has an area of 126,8 Km2.
There is a working core group in the city hall to implement municipal programmes, thus to create resilience to promote well-being and inclusive growth.
The City Hall is structured in six thematic areas:
