The Hungarian Art Book Association was founded in Budapest in 1993. We intend to develop a new design language based on the progressive traditions of Hungarian book art, to experiment, and to keep the genre alive by involving the younger generation.

With our extensive knowledge of books, we produce art books in small numbers, using diverse materials, with the principle of “expanded vision”, and with creative solutions. We rely on the traditions of Hungarian avant-garde book art.

The artworks have been exhibited at domestic and international exhibitions: Basel, Budapest, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Cairo, Copenhagen, Leipzig, Ljubljana, London, Mainz, Marseille, Paris, Prague, Viborg, Vilnius.
