ORGANISATION DESCRIPTION

Our association brings together professional documentary filmmakers who want to promote access to audiovisual creation for all audiences.
Audiovisual creation is seen as a means of reflection and expression, whether behind or in front of the camera.
The themes we focus on reflect the values upheld by the association: human rights, democracy, freedom and equal rights, public health and the environment, dissemination of scientific knowledge, etc.
The importance of transmission leads us to engage in image education initiatives, in close collaboration with teaching professionals.
The association also has an affinity for participatory and collaborative projects, where the expertise of the professional director should not prevent the co-construction of projects.
Example of a project Mandarine collaborated on: Erasmus+ project “Young Europeans Making History,” involving young people from five European countries (France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Spain) in cultural creations, including a 77-minute documentary film directed by a professional in collaboration with the young people, who are both in front of and behind the camera.
