PROJECT DESCRIPTION

"Silenced Voices" is a theatrical project aimed at bringing to the stage the stories and experiences related to human rights across Europe. Through a series of interviews with individuals who have faced violations of rights in different European contexts, we aim to breathe life into their narratives on stage, advocating for collective awareness of these issues.
The project's structure consists of three acts, each focusing on a different facet of the challenges faced by human rights in Europe. From the exposure of past injustices to the current situation and the actions of rights defenders, each part seeks to shed light on these fundamental issues.The collaboration of three playwrights from diverse European backgrounds will offer a diverse and multifaceted view of these challenges. Alongside a cast of four individuals, comprising three actors and a versatile musician, we aim to convey these experiences and emotions in a deep and authentic manner.
The creative process involves collecting testimonials from various sources, ranging from affected individuals to rights defenders and subject matter experts. These accounts will serve as the foundation for crafting a dramaturgy that addresses the complexities of human rights in Europe.The play will premiere in Madrid as a starting point and will be extensively promoted to reach various regions of the Iberian Peninsula and subsequently across Europe. The ultimate goal is to raise awareness and foster dialogue about the importance of
respecting and protecting fundamental rights throughout the  European region.
This version of the project focuses on a broader portrayal of  human rights across Europe, without specifically centering on a  particular geographical conflict, aiming to convey a universal  narrative about these fundamental issues
