PROJECT DESCRIPTION

We are particularly interested in projects related to any of the below:
Protection of the environment, gender equality, mental health, protection of human rights and promoting equality and the rights of the LGBTQ community.
Our field of expertise is visual arts and cultural projects, and it would be very interesting to cooperate in fields as overseas visual arts, arts and technology, promotion of art outside Greece. Our social enterprise has two Museologists as members besides our broad network, with long and successful experience in art/cultural exhibitions and research projects

ORGANISATION DESCRIPTION

Our 50 contemporary artists’ network are available to cooperate for art and cultural projects, for new art assignments and some of them are willing to undertake projects with given thematic. They are keen to team based projects and are extrovert to broaden their artistic horizons. Some of our  network members are well established artists and some are young talented artists. One very famous artist and member of our network is Assistant Professor at the University of Fine Arts
and he is particularly high skilled in marble & granite sculpting with experience in art courses around sculpture and conservation of art. Many of the artists, as a second occupation, are teachers in secondary schools. As a social enterprise we can run mini competitions for different projects with evaluation panels and assessment of results before the assignment of a project to an artist.
A taste of our work can be seen at our digital exhibition for a new artwork at the pandemic restrictions period (visit www.artplacegreece.gr) that was sponsored and under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Culture.
We collectively promote Greek contemporary art and try to have a sustainable Organisation coming from our e-shop income that was launched at June 2022. Our focus, but not exclusively, is on visual arts and we reinvest a big part of our income to exhibitions preferably overseas. Our mission is to encourage people to see the plurality and the benefits of art in beauty, care, and healing. We have a set of policies as environmental, EDI, anti-fraud and corruption, data protection and child protection policies to be transparent and fair to our stakeholders and customers. Our aim is to create new skills to our network artists to areas
that they are interested in, to promote their work, to have some a social impact to their lives overcoming obstacles, to support them by increasing their low income and to promote art activities and projects
